Vintage Home & Garden Decor and Floral Preservation

A little more than a century ago, Washington, Kansas businessman Wil Lloyd had the vision and drive to build a new structure on the west side of the city square for his jewelry and music store.  From diamonds, watches, gold and silver ware to victrolas, stringed instruments, sheet music & records, Lloyd's had it. Wil's nephew was the famous Harold Lloyd, a silent screen comedy actor and photographer. You can learn more about him at HaroldLloyd.com.

Today, you cankansas-james-dean.jpg still visit the Lloyd building in Downtown Washington.  Today, there's a plethora of gift items, select quality locally hand made wares and eclectic recycled kitsch. Just as the name Uptown Country is a paradox, the shop is part modern, part vintage vibe. It's a place where locals shop and reminisce, and visitors notice a slightly creaky wooden floor. The original pressed tin ceiling still remains.

It's our pleasure here at Uptown Country to bring floral preservationflower-preservations.jpg service to
the Washington County Kansas area. We use freeze dry technology to preserve bridal bouquets and memorial flowers. Framed keepsakes are an excellent way to treasure memories and enjoy the beauty of the florals for years.  Requests range from a single flower to large bouquets. Call or email Delma if you have questions about floral preservation, or to reserve your wedding date.  Uptown Country is an authorized representative with The Wedding Gown Preservation Company. This company cleans and preserves your gown. A discount for this service applies when purchased along with bridal bouquet preservation.
